The restaurant group, operating from five London sites including Canary Wharf, Camden, Islington, Shoreditch and Westfield, and specialising in fried chicken, traded as Bird Restaurants. Financial pressures, exacerbated by difficult trading conditions across the industry, and an unsuccessful refinancing process, led to us being instructed to undertake an independent marketing campaign of the business.
The solution:
The marketing campaign led to a high level of interest and a number of offers for the business culminating in a best bids process.
The results:
A sale was subsequently concluded by the Company’s Administrators immediately upon their appointment.
