TOP FLOOR LETTING COMPLETE AS 86 PRINCESS STREET NEARS COMPLETION

The digital marketing agency Big Brand Ideas has agreed a 10-year lease to occupy 5,200 sq ft on the top floor at the grade two-listed 86 Princess Street.

The comprehensive redevelopment of the historic Manchester textile warehouse is nearing completion and will provide a collaborative community for creative occupiers to thrive. Blending architectural detail and retained features, painstakingly restored with top of the range digital and mechanical infrastructure, 86 Princess Street celebrates its history and runs like a state-of-the-art 21st century building.

The building will provide a converted loading bay reception with amphitheatre style entranceway, coffee shop and break out space, two brand new 10-person passenger lifts, communal roof terrace, secure cycle hub and shower facilities, dedicated studio space as well as daily classes & events.

Lambert Smith Hampton is sole leasing agent on 86 Princess Street and is also providing project management on the transformation project.

The office space has now been fully refurbished to provide the ultimate character space with original timber flooring, exposed ceilings and brickwork as well as exceptional floor to ceiling height. The available space provides suites from 1,800 sq ft to full floors of 5,200 sq ft.

Matt Pickersgill, Office Advisory at LSH, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Big Brand Ideas who will provide an excellent fit for 86 Princess Street. It has been remarkable to see the transformation over the last two years and it’s no surprise we are now seeing strong levels of interest from a variety of creative businesses. It’s exciting to see a community of forward-thinking businesses starting to take shape in what is a stunningly restored building.”

The building was acquired by a private investor in 2016. MC Construction is the main contractor with Atelier the heritage architect and Sheila Bird Group the designer.
