Caledonian Travel, an established provider of coach services for day trips, short breaks and holidays, has recently taken occupation within Leeds Bus Station, making it their 6th Travel Centre in the UK.
Operating at the heart of Leeds City Centre, adjacent to the Victoria Gate Shopping Centre, the Bus Station is split in to two parts for bus (operated by West Yorkshire Combined Authority) and coach (operated by National Express) operations. Independent public transport operators include First, Arriva, Transdev Yorkshire Coastliner, The Harrogate Bus Company and The Keighley Bus Company.
Caledonian Travel have fitted out a 187 sq ft unit as a travel centre for customers to walk in and book short breaks and holidays by coach. These include an array of domestic locations along with a number of destinations in mainland Europe.
Paul Barnett, Transport Director at LSH, said: “Leeds Bus Station is the central infrastructure point for public travel within the city, we are glad to have found a suitable occupier that will provide additional travel options and draw a wider array of customers to the bus station, complementing existing retailers which include Costa and Greggs.”
Lambert Smith Hampton represented the West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) who operate Leeds Bus Station.
