Lambert Smith Hampton’s creative industries team has been appointed to market London's Wimbledon Studios.
The 130,000-square-foot studio complex was most recently the headquarters of Persian language entertainment channel, Marjan Television which has been in occupation since 2014 and has invested into the facility.
The studios, which were originally converted from a former wine warehouse on Deer Park Road, SW19, were once owned by talkbackThames and housed a permanent set for the production of long-running police drama The Bill. The site also hosted Channel 5 soap opera Family Affairs and other recent productions including The Iron Lady, Quiz and Tipping Point.
The site is made up of two drama studios, four broadcast studios and full support facilities including edit suites, galleries, makeup, dressing rooms, office accommodation workshops, storage and car parking.
Chris Berry, senior director at Lambert Smith Hampton, said in a statement: “The blend of production facilities and high ratio of ancillary support space is unique, giving it a flexibility to suite a variety of different types of occupiers. It would make a fantastic facility for any corporate with a requirement or aspiration to produce their own content."
