Portsmouth City Council expressed interest in acquiring a secure office investment within Manchester City Centre.  Through knowledge of the local market, along with a strong regional presence, our capital markets team identified Queens House as an excellent opportunity for the council to build its investment portfolio. 

Queens House comprises a prime multi-let office building in Manchester city centre which was comprehensively refurbished in 2014. Situated in Lincoln Square, the 7 storey building comprises retail space on the ground floor with 6 upper floors of office accommodation.

Despite an extremely competitive marketing campaign, we were able to secure the purchase of Queens House for Portsmouth City Council. The deal price was £8.885m which reflects a net initial yield of 4.75%.
