Getting started

It is vital that within your first few days and weeks at LSH you are shown the ropes in terms of your new office environment, computer systems and general office/team/business processes.

Most of this will happen within your immediate team environment and it is the responsibility of your line manager to ensure you are brought up to speed in order to make your on-boarding experience as smooth as possible.

This should include (but is not limited to) the following:

  • A walk round of your new office environment to show you where the facilities are and emergency exits
  • Explanation of the emergency evacuation procedures
  • Introduction to your team and other key members of staff
  • Coaching on how to use office equipment e.g. tablets, laptops, phones, copiers etc and login instructions
  • Coaching on how to use applicable systems and business applications
  • Coaching on key business/office/team procedures e.g. sickness reporting
  • Receiving emails with logins to CoreHR, MyTraining, LSH Rewards etc and coaching on how to use.
  • Completion of the MyTraining online compliance, health & safety training modules

These should all be provided as a matter of course, but if not please speak to your line manager or HR.

CORPORATE INDUCTION

Once a quarter we run a national corporate induction day for all new employees. This takes place in our London Office (UK House) and is an excellent opportunity to hear from our CEO, Ezra Nahome and his team about the business and their ambitions for LSH.New employees will automatically receive an invitation to attend the next induction day. If you are unable to make the date you will be invited to attend the next one. We know company inductions can be a dull and dreary affair, so we created something a little different. This is an induction day like no other and we’re confident you will enjoy it so please make every effort to attend.
