Construction work is almost complete at a new trade park in Andover, Hampshire, which has already attracted top occupier names ahead of its opening later this year.

Work on the eight new units at Glenmore Trade Park is in its final stages, with occupiers lining up to move in when they become available in the summer.

Of the park’s eight units at the new trade counter and warehouse development, three have already been let - one each to Topps Tiles, Magnet Kitchens/Magnet Trade and Formula One Auto Centres.

This means that all the units in the development’s Block B have been let, with only the five units in Block A remaining.

Lambert Smith Hampton and Myddelton & Major are the letting agents for the scheme, which is being developed by Glenmore Commercial Estates.

Elise Evans, associate director at Lambert Smith Hampton’s Southampton office, comments: “It is exciting to see the development taking shape at such a rapid pace, knowing that there are household names waiting to move in.

“These high quality units have been built speculatively, demonstrating business confidence in the Andover area, and due to its prime location, we are seeing significant interest in the remaining units at the development.”

Glenmore Trade Park’s eight trade counter units benefit from their prominent position facing Newbury Road and are within walking distance of Tesco and Sainsbury supermarkets and of Enham Arch Retail Park, where occupiers include Halfords, Homebase, Next, Maplin Electronics, The Range and Brantano Footwear.

It is also close to Churchill Way Retail Park, home to national retailers including TK Maxx, Currys Digital and Carpet Right.

The new buildings have been constructed to the highest industry standards, offering high-quality, secure premises in an important commercial area of Hampshire. Full planning consent has been granted for industrial use with ancillary trader counter operation.
